* This picture was taken 3PM in the afternoon. It did not feel like the color would be so warm at that time. It would have looked better if WB were set correctly.

Quite a heavy fog today

I was playing with ISO settings, and the quality is not too bad

Lone Post

lone post on the hill

This is the result of me cropping another picture and pixulate a little. I love the color and shape fo this composition.

Tree against the light

Tree against dark clouds

Tree against dark clouds

* Half dark and half bright sky. No compensation. Should have slowered the shutter a little more to see if the motion of the branches could be captured...

Monument and Post

Monument and Post

* I couldn't quite figure out what I liked about this composition, but there's something that I enjoyed. I thought it was the shape and color of the monument, but it turned out that it was the post with a white sign on the top (against the dark clouds), and the pale cylinder object in front of the post (which is against dark background too) that attracted me.

I decided to blow up that portion and play with it a little with PhotoShop.

Jamie

Jamie again

* It's early in the morning when Jamie just came home from work. The sky was cloudy and there wasn't enough light to illuminate the dining area behind. If there were more light to the wall behind, the portrait would have stood out more.

PIE . Kitchen

PIE . Kitchen

* This shot was fairly difficult due to lack of tripod. I think I knealed on the floor and grab the camera as close to my body to minimize the shake. It came out well.

Fence in the morning

I like this one too. The shadow has more energy than the previous one. But I have concern about the White Balance of this shot.

It's deep in the Winter, but we are entitled to the hope that Spring is not too far away.
